I have always been passionate about drawing.

When I was a kid, I used to sneak into my parents’ room, hide under the bed and look at my father’s artbook. I was in love with his drawings and imagined that one day I will be as good as him. I used to draw every day. Every little detail that I saw, I tried to transfer onto the blank piece of paper. I drew my friends, family members, memories, things that I wanted to happen and things out of my imagination. My kindergarten teachers used to praise me for that which gave me the desire to draw even more…

As time passed, drawing (painting) became my way to express my feelings. If I have to be honest, as an introvert, I don’t know any other way to openly show how I feel, other than through my art. Probably that is the reason, most of my characters’ faces are frozen in time but they somehow have so much to say… I just try to tell their stories.

I am not a good writer nor artist – I just take the pen and I pour my thoughts onto the paper until there is nothing left…
